InterVac Remote Control Tool Kit (TK-108-TB-RC)

This is the complete tool kit for InterVac remote control systems. The transmitter is built into the pistol grip of the hose, so you switch the power unit on and off from the handle instead of walking back to the wall. It ships with a medium turbo brush and the full set of detail tools in a black mesh bag.

Read This First – Compatibility

This kit works only with InterVac systems that have the built-in remote control receiver: the CSRM-RC and the GH-120-X-RC. The hose has a plain cuff and a transmitter in the handle, and it needs the matching receiver in the power unit to do anything.

If your system does not have a remote receiver, you want one of our universal kits instead – the TK108-TB (turbo brush) or the TK108-TBM (turbo brush and dust mop). Those fit the 32 mm standard used by most North American central vacuums, including Beam, NuTone, Broan, Husky, Vacuflo, Hayden, Cana-Vac, Duovac, Cyclovac, M&S (MD), Astrovac and Electrolux.

How the Remote Control Works

Push the hose cuff into the inlet valve, then use the switch on the pistol grip. The transmitter signals the receiver in the power unit, which starts and stops the motor. There is no low-voltage wiring to run to the handle and nothing to plug in – it is the same hose you would use anyway, with the switch where your hand already is.

The 35+ ft Stretch Hose

The hose relaxes short for storage and stretches past 35 feet in use, which is usually enough to cover a full floor or a two-car garage from a single inlet valve.

Why the Turbo Brush

The turbo brush is driven by your vacuum airflow, so there is no cord and no motor to fail. The spinning brush roll lifts pet hair and ground-in grit out of carpet pile that a plain floor tool passes over.
