Warranty Policy & Product Registration
This page applies to products purchased directly from InterVac, through authorized retailers (including Amazon), or installed in an RV or boat at the time of purchase.
Customers should complete Product Registration first. If you are experiencing an issue, please submit a Warranty Claim using the link provided below.
Product Registration
Register your product to document ownership and establish warranty eligibility.
Registration does not replace proof of purchase. A purchase receipt or other proof of original purchase will still be required before warranty performance is rendered.
Proof of purchase includes:
• Product sold directly to the end user
• Product installed in an RV or boat purchased by the end user
Applicable Products & Warranty Period
Warranty length is determined by the date of manufacture on the silver UL sticker located in or near the dust bag compartment.
CondoVac (includes IVD660 models) – 2 years
RV Vac (includes CS6, CS8, CS9, CS10, CS RM, CS RM RC models) – 2 years
Garage Vac (includes GH, GF, H, F, RMF, RMH models) – 2 years
VacPort (includes LED and Non-LED) – 2 years
All accessories – 30 days
Warranty Coverage
This warranty is extended only to the original purchaser of the product or RV/boat in which it was originally installed and is not transferrable.
There are no expressed warranties except as listed above. InterVac is not liable for any conflicting warranty policies put in place by an OEM or Dealer.
If a product is found defective, InterVac will, at its sole discretion:
• Repair the product using new or rebuilt parts, or
• Replace the entire product free of charge
InterVac may require the purchaser to pay for shipping to return the product.
If the product is sold as a kit, only the defective product will be warrantied. Labor for installation or removal is not covered.
This warranty only covers failures due to defects in materials or workmanship that occur during normal use. InterVac retains the right to review each claim and determine what constitutes normal use.
No cash refunds will be issued.
Exclusions
The following items that require normal replacement are excluded from the warranty policy:
• Disposable dust bags
• Filters
• Product cleaner tools
• Product hoses
This warranty does not cover:
• Damage which occurs in shipment
• Failures caused by products not supplied by InterVac
• Use of non-genuine, aftermarket, or third-party dust bags or filters (this will void the warranty on the vacuum unit)
• Failures resulting from accident, misuse, abuse, neglect, mishandling, misapplication, alteration, modification, or commercial use such as hotel, office, restaurant, or rental use of the product
• Unauthorized or improper service performed by anyone other than InterVac
• Damage attributable to acts of God
